Who we are

MakeIdeaReal is a multilingual AI coaching product built to help individuals turn ideas into actionable plans. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

What we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to operate the product:

• Your email or phone number for authentication (via Supabase Auth).
• Ideas, coach messages, and plans you create — stored in our database to power your coaching sessions.
• Anonymous analytics events (page views, feature usage) via self-hosted Matomo — only if you consent.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your IP address for profiling, sell data to third parties, use advertising cookies, or share your coaching content with anyone outside our infrastructure.

Analytics (Matomo)

If you accept analytics, we use Matomo — a self-hosted, open-source analytics platform. Your data stays on our server and is never shared with third parties. Matomo uses a cookie only after you give consent. You can opt out at any time in Settings.

Our Matomo instance is hosted at selfhostedmatomo.duckdns.org.

Your rights & opt-out

You can withdraw analytics consent, request an export of all your data, or delete your account and all associated data at any time. These options are available in

Data retention

Your ideas, messages, and plans are kept until you delete them or your account. Analytics data is retained for 12 months in Matomo.
